I am a Michigan-born artist, currently residing in Ohio. My work is a reflection of my life—rooted in the journey of motherhood, a deep love for animals, and a passion for disability advocacy.
My equine artwork is a reflection of grace, power, and quiet resilience—qualities I see not only in horses, but also in my daughter, who was born with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. Her strength and spirit deeply influence my creative process, and as a tribute to her journey, I include a “hidden heart” in each of my pieces.
These hearts are more than symbols; they are personal emblems of love, hope, and the beauty found in difference. By weaving them into my equine art, I aim to create meaningful connections—inviting viewers to look deeper, not just at the work, but at the world around them. Each piece is a celebration of strength in all its forms, and a quiet act of advocacy for those whose stories deserve to be seen and felt.
My art is not just about horses—it’s about heart, connection, and honoring the stories that shape us. Through each piece, I strive to celebrate uniqueness, promote inclusion, and give back to the communities that have touched my heart.
